I personally collected this Scallop sea shell on a trip to Guerrero Negro - BAJA California Sur Mexico ( also known as "La Baja ")
This seashell in companion with many other seashell-sibblings were laying on the Isolated seashore all by themselves, looking somber as a result of over exploitation on scallops during the 1990's on that area. The Mexican Government has now established regulations for exploitation and scallop culture development.
I decided to bring some of this beautiful seashells home and do something special with them ... This seashell is now a one of a kind Angel; proudly wearing his stained glass wings with a curly halo wire around his head. Edges are stained with dark patina to enhance the rustic cottage vintage style.
